Engineering Graduate Programme

Engineering Graduate Programme

Build a better future through science and innovation

Our engineering graduates play a crucial role in designing, optimising and maintaining the systems that keep AstraZeneca moving forward. From the laboratories that discover life-changing medicines to the manufacturing facilities that deliver them worldwide, you’ll help ensure that our operations run safely, efficiently and sustainably.

What you can expect

Over the course of this two-year programme, you’ll gain experience across different areas of our engineering organisation — from process improvement and equipment design to data-driven decision making and sustainability projects. You’ll be supported by experienced mentors and given the freedom to explore how technology and innovation can make a real impact.

You’ll have opportunities to:

  • Develop practical engineering solutions to complex challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain and R&D
  • Lead projects that improve efficiency, reliability and environmental performance
  • Learn from experts who are passionate about using engineering to advance healthcare

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for graduates who combine technical curiosity with creative problem-solving. You’ll be ready to challenge the status quo, explore new technologies and work as part of a global team. A background in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or process engineering — or a related discipline — is ideal, but most of all we’re looking for people who want to make a difference.

Why join AstraZeneca

As an engineering graduate, you’ll be part of a global business committed to sustainability, innovation and continuous improvement. You’ll build skills for a long-term career and contribute to the science that transforms lives.

We’ll keep you up-to-date
